I find it interesting that some come here to the board and criticize people who critique a player's play or effort...on a defense that just gave up 500+ yards and has been torched the past few weeks.
Isn't that one of the reasons this board exists?
I say critique away.
If all we want is to pat each other on the back and say "But we're 10-1"...well what is that? How about telling us why Suh actually did or didn't do a good job? 43 said he watched Suh specifically and he didn't show him anything. Ok. That's info I didn't know. Why? I didn't notice because I was busy watching either our secondary get torched or Donald making a play.
And FWIW...Suh can't be playing perfect...we're getting gashed on the run up the middle. And yes...even the great Aaron Donald can be critiqued on that issue.
As for Ebukam...he had a great game. Loved it. But he has had his share of stinking up the joint with his horrific tackling in previous games. He deserved the criticism just as he deserves accolades now. Last night, he was one of the stars to take us to 10-1.
With the way our defense is playing how can you not be critical? They have literally sugged!
As for Suh helping Donald...I've heard reasons both ways. And honestly, I can't say whether he is or isn't doing his job great, good, average or poor. What I do see are RBs busting up the middle for 100's of yards and Aaron Donald making big plays.
