1 Tackle, 2 Tackle, 3 Swarm if you can't Tackle...4 If the ball hit's your hand....grab it....5 If the ball hit's the ground grab it......If whoever in Red gets the ball do those things stat......Allow no rhythm to be built.....Their going to get plays going....stop them before they hurt us..
Tackle, Tackle, Tackle.....hit a guy in the backfield.....make the hit stick...guy grabs a ball 10-15 yards out stop him there...no missed tackles..no bad angles.....no arm grabbing out....Don't let fake direction take you out of the play....stay in spot and let everyone be responsible.....This D can do that.....it's called fundamentals of football 101....
You don't have to be #1 in all aspects of D to be good....# 1 is the ability to tackle soundly and or swarm to do so...balls go astray when that happens...
