A superbowl win and lots of playoff appearances with a below average coach and in many of those years pulling along very average supporting team.

Last year when he was playing they were a superbowl contender and when he was out, they were like bottom of the league team. I have never seen a player so impactful to a team. A superbowl champ, and the best statistical results with an unheard of 6 straight seasons of 100% QB rating.

To boot, he passes the eye ball test with a great arm, can make all the throws, short long, angles, sidelines, lobs, fades, middle of field bullets, down the sidelines, etc. And a great elusive QB that can move in the pocket or run for first downs when needed.

Those are the reasons why he is the greatest player in NFL history with Jerry Rice as a distant #2.
