You are right. It is the defining problem, and it is why the Rams won't be going deep into the playoffs this year. You can see it coming as plain as day.
But you do see any of the other elite, high scoring teams with a good defense? They all have the same problem IMO, and most have a worse problem.
The difference I see right now between NO and KC is their offenses are scoring more and seem more unstoppable. None have a good D. So IMO it's not a certainty that we won't be going deep in the playoffs.
