Everett is a RAC monster in what very little targets/attempts he gets and runs violently, like a RB....
Honestly, I would almost run 4WRs and use Kupp as a screening/blocking TE that higbee is. Kupp can wall folks off just long enough and provides more playmaking ability...I bet Everett will be phased in more now that Higbee's run-blocking can be nearly approximated by Kupp/Everett...but give us bigger playmaking ability. That throw to Higbee in the EZ was money....I won't forgive Higbee for that one...he's just an avg TE guy. imo
Everett gives much more options in place of Higbee...even if the blocking isn't as good as higbee's is...
we can make up for it in scheme with Kupp/Woods/Everett.
I loved the fake FG and would do it a thousand times again.
Defense is a mystery to me...I liked Fowler tho...he plays hard & fast.
A good blocking in-line TE is a good thing to have.
Cost a 4th round pick and has good productive value on a run-heavy play-action team.
IMO there's no such thing as a "TE," just different types of
TE roles. It's a rare player who can do all of them.
Higbee is good at one of those roles and so for me anyway, that's enough.
