Everett is a big WR who will never amount to any type of go to player at TE.
He's too soft and has difficulty getting open, especially in the middle of the field where you expect a TE to help you out.
Everett does squat in the red zone, an area where we struggle...he is not help there.
As for PFF ranking him #4 anything, well, that is an embarrassing statement.
Well, I'll have to admit...somebody likes him...is is owned by 1% of Yahoo FFB owners!
On the bright side...he is on pace for 23 catches, 260 yards, 0 TDs, 2 2-pt conversions, after having a career game Sunday. HOT!!! Any 3rd string TE in the league could get you that.
That's all I have to say about that...until someone posts that McVay is holding him back as a "secret weapon" again.
For those of you who think we don't need a real TE...well...you're wrong. I went through these discussions with Pettis and Robinson. I"m used to it.
