Kind of a funny story behind '67

I had just met my soon to be wife's family. On Dec. 9th they had some kind of family function and invited me. As you know.. that was the day the Rams were playing GB.

I declined, obviously. Got a call late the night before the game... my soon to be wife had explained the situation to her family... and negotiated a deal. During the game her family would vacate the living room, the TV was mine... they wouldn't bother me, they would all go into the backyard. I didn't believe her.. so she put her Dad on the phone who assured my I wouldn't be bothered.

Now most on this board are now thinking, "That JamesJM, what an @###$@!". And most on this board, would be right. BUT IT WAS GB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just to note... for the duration of the game not a single member of my wife's family entered the living room during the game. At first they thought it was a bit silly... but when the game started and they heard my voice bellowing out of the living room, into the backyard, and across the entire town of Mendota they know my wife had not exaggerated. - JamesJM
