If my memory for this seasons games serves me correctly, Hekker has been punting from pretty close to mid-field most of the time. Of course his average is going to be lower than in past seasons. He also seems to be pinning the opposition inside the 15 a good portion of the time on top of it. The few times this season Hekker has punted from deep in their own territory I seem to recall him booming some deep into the other teams territory. If I were going to try and put together a list of Rams 1-53 that needed to step up their game, Hekker would be near the bottom of that list.
