The thought of putting the best 11 on the field came to mind. I trust Brown more than I trust Reynolds on the field. Brown would produce more and make fewer mistakes. It still gives the McVay his 11 personnel. Gurley could run jet sweeps, shuttle passes underneath QB in the shotgun, WR routes, etc. Shifting to/or/from a 2 back pro formation might give DCs something to study. It also does not give away run or pass leanings by formation.
Brown is coming up on 200 rushing yards after 7 games. He could end up with 400-500 yards rushing at the end of the year.
Woods with 90 rushing yards after 7 games. He could end up with 200-250 rushing yards added on to his career high in receiving yards.
The Rams got Gurley and Brown in the same 2015 draft. Brown was projected as a 5th round pick. Snead et al. were able to get him as an UDFA.
