A few weeks ago when Hekker threw to Reynolds, I remember the rules official guy saying that there can be no Pass Interference on a fake punt (I think I am remembering that correctly). Does that go for the offense as well?
The rules official guy makes some sense when it comes to pass interference on fake punts.
Fake punts are less likely to draw flags with pass interference unless the person committing the foul is so blatant and disgusting they can't ignore it.
I'm still a little befuddled that Reynolds had little to no aggressiveness with his effort when the ball was in the air.
It was as if Reynolds wasn't sure John Fassel really called a fake punt deep pass to him being the primary option?
Josh Reynolds looked lost on that fake punt and the results of the play clearly showed it...............
