with, I think, one notable difference.... perhaps I'm not giving some teams enough respect but short of NE I don't see any other team obviously better than the Rams.
Given the weaknesses you describe, (I don't really disagree with any of them), I think the Ram's sit on level ground with any other team you can name. I can think of things other teams do better, certainly, but I can think of things the Rams do better than them as well.
So for me it's not that the Ram's are without weakness... and I VERY much agree they have not peaked (most notably Goff and McVay)... it's that "at this time" I see no other team further along in getting it together by season's end. That could change... for good or worse... but I repeat something I brought up regarding game play not long ago... and I think it pertains to the season as well.... the Rams do no hang their heads.... bad plays, unlucky quirks of fate, they continue to approach the LOS on the next play with short memories and attitude.
A defeat will test all this... definitely a 'we'll see' stigma still looms.. but I think I know the answer. - JamesJM
