I like how he keeps his eyes down the field, believe me. I think there were times he could have stepped up in the pocket and bought another second or two. I don't mind him taking some sacks as it happens. And I don't mind that he was a bit off yesterday. That also happens.
What I didn't love is he reverted badly by staring down his first target damn near all day, I mean to the point where he would literally wait an entire 3 to 4 seconds for that one particular target to open up. He has to stop that. I truly think he will as he understands that just because Mcvay calls a good play it does not mean your first target will always come open.
Also, and I think he will get better.....he doesn't seem to have that quick twitch thing that some athletes have. Everything is methodical, and that in and of itself isn't necessarily terrible, because I love how he keeps his eyes downfield and shows patience, but it's almost as if he is robotic and the artificial Intelligence part of it needs an upgrade.
