With the exception of selecting the talent (where Snead manages things) and negotiating contracts, McVay runs and owns EVERYTHING else. And rightfully so.....this franchise has a bright future entirely because of McVay. Stan is smart enough to just step to the side and let McVay do his thing. There is no reason for McVay to go anywhere else.....unless of course you get a Jimmie Johnson vs Jerry Jones type of thing where the Rams win three Superbowls......and certain individuals in the Rams mgt/ownership start to think McVay is getting too much credit.
First off.....let's hope we have that problem!
Secondly, McVay is just too dang humble......and Stan is just not interested in being on the front page for this to happen.
If things go good, there is potential for McVay to be here until he gets old, fat, and bald. It will be interesting to see if he is as wired then as he is now.
