Phillips says it's not fine. He's playing dinged up.
Peters takes responsibility for screwing up and knows his last two games are well below his own standard.
I like the kid's attitude. He's just a competitor. In fact, Phillips said that because Peters is so good at seeing the field and reading what the offense wants to do that he doesn't want to take that away from him and make the assignment too rigid. At the same hand, Peters has to play within the package.
We have a Pro-Bowl shut down corner who will come around. And who steps it up in the 4th quarter, as does the rest of our D, when the game outcome is on the line. Great teams and great players have that ability.
