In terms of that hypothetical...I doubt Suh signs for 3-4 years, with anyone. He has alluded to retirement. The more likely scenario is a one year, or even 2 one years.
And yes they can afford it. Until Goff's new deal hits the books, they are drowning in cap space.
They have nearly 40 M in cap space next year. They could sign Suh for a one-year for 2019 and not have to cut anybody.
