I just don't think Wilson has any secrets locked away in a box.
The Rams know exactly how to play him, and they know exactly how to play Baldwin.
Can they do it? Of course.
Will they do it? That's why they play the game.
But....on the other side of the coin.....the bigger issue is how the Seahawks play Goff, Gurley, Cooks, Woods and Kupp. Is their 1st CB as good as Cooks? Nope. Is their 2nd CB as good as Woods? Nope. Is their 3rd CB as good as Kupp? Nope.
Can their Dline consistently get to Goff? If Minny's can't, either can the Seahawks'.
Seahawks BARELY got by Arizona, for Pete's sake. They won with time running out with a 52 yard FG!!! They with the rookie QB who essentially wasn't allowed to throw the ball in the game, and only 1 good WR.....an aging and visibly slower Fitzgerald.
Yes, you can invoke "on any given Sunday". But a) the Rams aren't intimidated by the Seattle crowd or being on the road and b) the Rams are simply the superior team with weapons and playmakers all over the place on offense and defense. And c) who would you bet on as OC and play caller? Schottenheimer or McVay?
The Rams would have to play one heck of a bad game to lose. Perhaps Goff would have to be knocked out early. That certainly doesn't guarantee a win.....but Vegas doesn't think Seattle has much of a chance and neither do I.
