Re: Steelers asking price for Le'Veon Bell

Interesting. I can't see how the Rams could do anything to get him. The problem isn't the trading price, but his huge salary. If he wanted to get a ring and make some money (more than the zero he's currently pulling in) then maybe we could get involved. We traded a 2 and 5 for Faulk and resigned him and won the Super Bowl. This time though we have the best RB there is in TG30 and don't have cap room for Bell's demands. As the trade deadline nears the asking price might come down and Bell's demands might come down too. Under both conditions Indoubt they make a trade. Who is that desperate for a HB, has the pieces to trade and the cap room? On top of all that, this guy gets dinged a lot.
Something to keep an eye on. I really like M Brown and Kelley. Don't see how he could fit unless we had an injury there. But, you never know. TG30 plus Bell would be the ultimate nightmare for DCs coming out of the backfield. They can both do it all, run, catch passes, block, so rotating them and even pairing them would be so tough. Add in our terrific WR trio and maybe the best OL and a young accurate thrower and we should literally score every time we get the ball. Snead will keep an eye on it and swoop in if the time is right. Will be a very interesting month indeed.
