Might not most experienced Kickers prefer to wait for a job with at least a 1 year contract?
And, what might the Rams have to pay? That matters.

Would you rather have 3 checks or 0 checks?? Plus, if they do well and GZ goes down again, they would most likely be the first one called. Also other teams will see how they perform and could lead to another job offer elsewhere. Nothing to lose IMO.
