Your comment on the chant with "Skol" reminds me of one of the greatest moments of '99 with the team in StL.

We played the Vikings in the playoffs, and for many of us, the scar tissue from 70s playoff losses was tough.

I don't think StL fans felt that as much, for obvious reasons. They'd been Cards fans in the 70s.

But I remember seeing footage of StL fans burning a mock up of a Viking ship in the Mississippi river.

Now THAT was cool!
