He has the element of Welker in the slot on short crossing patterns and quick outs, putting him in motion, but he can make traditional WR down the field catches like Fitzgerald and has his toughness for doing all the little things including blocking.

Neither Fitzgerald or Welker were highly athletic by receiver standards with blazing speed or jumping ability, but ran patterns, had toughness, and a feel for how to find open areas.

So Kupp to me is like Welker+ or maybe the Fitzgerald comparison on its own stands true.
