It never ceases to amaze me

It's mind-blowing to me that certain positions on an NFL team require such an intense level of skill that literally no more than about 40-45 people in the world at any one time are capable of actually succeeding at those positions right now, here, today. Some of those 40-45 will drop off (age or injury). Some others will come and replace them. But it's about that many at any one time.

I mean, if you're a QB who has navigated your team to a playoff appearance and then won even just one playoff game, you're in a truly elite club when it comes to human beings on the planet. Amazing.
