The way they talking about peters might be out cause it's a short week against Vikes I wouldn't be surprised if peters misses the Vikes game but then longer wait till next game and he may end up being ready for that one. I'm figuring that it would almost be two weeks. Also not saying he is superman but peters is a pretty young dude still, so he may heal up a lot quicker if loud mouth Sherman has a calf strain and he tore his Achilles last year and is due to miss only 3 weeks at his age you never know. I would like to air on the side of caution but you never know two games is basically 3 weeks so if this is the case I will take it. I'd be very confident with peters and Sheilds. Also maybe advantageous for a veteran like talib be fresher for playoffs 4 weeks missed plus the bye week he might be real fresh for playoffs and not like he needs time to pick up Wades system as he knows it very well. Maybe just looking on the bright side but it's all we can do right now.
I would like to trade a pick or scour free agents for an edge rusher nothing special like a superstar but a solid player on the edge to feed abs to our line and hold that edge as well. jags were thinking bout dumping fowler looking around the league could be a couple teams that may want to dump some decent players knowing they not going anywhere already. Thoughts???? Ideas????
I like your thinking Payote.
The doctors will make the call, of course. But the young Peters might make a fairly rapid recovery, at that. I have no doubt that McVay will err on the side of health safety, btw.
I love your idea of exploring for a competent journeyman that can improve our edge via trade or maybe a FA out there that’s just waiting for a call and a shot. No stone unturned, I say.
