I think the Bears would be just as good under today's rules as they were under the 85 rules. They were a well coached defense and had great players. Great teams continue to be great notwithstanding rule changes. Now fans might not like seeing those 85 Bears playing under today's rules but as far as winning games they would still be great. Personally, I think Mattews has seen his best days regardless.
