Look at 1989. Busted out 5 and 0 and then lost four in a row. 1985.. Started 7 and 0 and then lost our footing for a few games. As far as "acting like it" for our good team? Still have the car flags up and the jersey on today. I'm just keeping it humble because we still have not won a playoff game since the 2004 season.
