To each his own.

I recall several posts on this board suggesting that Aaron Donald and Khalil Mack were receiving bad advise from their representation. Turns out that both received record-setting deals that reshaped the market.

Bell is a premier player at a position that's seeing a resurgence in the league. He believes that, at his age, he can secure a deal that will likely eclipse the one secured by Gurley.

I'm not mad at him for exercising what ever leverage he has in pursuit of that.
