Rams far far better off with with Talib and Peters than in keeping TruJ and/or JJ, even though it meant parting with a 2nd and a 5th to get them.
No comparison to the talents and performance between TruJ and either of those 2. JJ has great talent; he's just so darned inconsistent and makes mistakes at the worst possible times.
It is always smart NOT to pay pretty good talent major bucks just so you don't create a hole at that spot. It cements you to mediocrity when you do things like that.
The same thing is going to happen with Joyner if he doesn't moderate his demands. The Rams have made it clear that they are not going to pay a pretty good FS the same money as they'd pay a superior or great FS.
