That call on Matthews was ridiculous.
There is a difference in how he went down and how I've seen other defenders take down QBs in the past. I've seen (and I'm sure you all have too) defenders literally pile-drive QBs into the ground and purposely land all of their weight on them. It's those kinds of sacks that should get penalized as it's clear they are trying to hurt the QB. But those like Matthews, no way. Only a part of him landed on the QB and it looked like he couldn't help it.
The officials need to be able to see that difference and throw the flag or not accordingly.
