I can understand why people don't like it. And when it first started I thought it was awful. But somehow over time it's grown on me and I watch probably 30 minutes or so of it almost daily as I'm starting my day.
Like you said it's light-hearted entertainment. It's not meant to be some analytical show. Some of their bits are funny, some not. I think Kay Adams does a good job leading it and overall I like Burleson. Kyle Brandt throws out a ton of pop culture references- some good, some fall flat. I was amazed to find out he was a three-year starting RB for Princeton. Pete Schrager is goofy but he sort of plays the enthusiastic fan role.
