This picture says alot about Goff's maturity and trust with his receivers. Can't tell here, but Cards are playing Cover 1. Not easy to complete a post route against Cover 1. Especially with this good coverage from the DB. Goff basically had to throw this ball over 20 yards into the perfect spot.

Goff is throwing to the right and is already in his throwing motion yet Cooks is still to the left of the defender as 3 big uglies are about to smash Goff. When I saw him complete this live I was like "Wow!"



Here's a similar play from week 1 that I thought Goff could've completed, but held on to the ball instead. This play resulted in a strip sack.
