Blinkscout Game 2 .. Cardinals ...

First, before anything ... I want to give a shout out to Shaq Griffin ... who had more INTs than hands on Monday night football. I will refrain from anything positive toward a seahawk the rest of the year. But that was truly transcendent of the sport. And I grew up near UCF so Im a bit of a homer too.

Man, it's nice to be so good that you don't need a kicker.


The Great

1) Brandin Cooks ... that's what McVay wanted.

2) Holding Sam Bradford to under 100 yards.

3) Shutout.


The Good

4) Our entire offense is a "hands" team.

5) They may not get the praise until later this year ... but our top 3 WRs have the best feet, and the best hands of any team's top 3 in the NFL.

6) Ebukam getting around the corner. If he can play at that speed double digit sacks could be a thing.

7) I don't know that I've seen a set of outside CBs that are not even challenged by WRs. It's like they're playing at different speeds .. or like they're told the routes beforehand.

8) JJ3 is who I wanted him to be. He may never be flashy ... but he's the most solid type of solid there is.

9) Blyyyyythe. I, being a college focused dude, love Iowa linemen. I didn't get too much of a look at him because I was watching other guys ... but he has the center of gravity thing and the technique thing ... this year he seems to have much more power.

10) JOJO!!!!!!! Guess we'll just keep having pro bowl return men.

11) Hekker field goal.

12) Marqui Christian.


The Bad

13) Need to get into better rhythm with the TEs

14) C'mon, take Goff out. He was on my fantasy team and I was hoping they'd take him out.


Seriously that's all I got.


College

15) Some good games last weekend. Gotta watch TCU this year ... I think they come back form that loss and make the final 4.

16) VTech has a good squad. BYU is playing serious football ... and they have vet leadership at LB in Takitaki, maybe the speediest sideline to sideline ILB in college.

17) AZ state under Herm Edwards is playing good football.

18) N'Keal Harry should go top 5. He's a great kid and great story too.

19) I'm watching for TEs and Backup QBs ... right now I have Pinckney on Vanderbilt as my high end early underrated TE.

20) DT is the strongest position in the draft. Maybe the strongest DT class Ive ever seen.

21) I haven't been super impressed with rOLBs or Safeties yet, but those sometimes take a while to develop during the year.
