When your team is way ahead, and it's the middle of the 4th quarter, isn't it about time to rest your quarterback? I mean if Goff got himself injured late in the game and was unavailable to play for weeks or even months, wouldn't the s---t hit the fan on this board, blaming the coach for jeopardizing the season? In addition, our backup quarterback, who we have all criticized, desperately needs work so he can hopefully get better.

I take your point, trouble.

But, it’s not as if Goff was getting beat up or anything. Our OL and both Gurley and Brown have done an amazing job of protecting Goff so far.

‘Course, that could change as we play better and better teams.
