NOT that any of you need reason but:
All Time the Ram's trail the 49'rs... losing 69 times and winning 65 times.
Now I am old... started following the Ram's in the 50's... but it's important to note... EVEN AFTER that disastrous run the Ram's are ONLY 4 games from being tied with them. Hence the reason I, personally, see the Ram's as basically on even footing with the Niners.
I've said many times that because I was never part of the 'geographic rivalry' the Rams and Niners have faced each other very few times in truly meaningful games.. and thus, while I HATE them, it's never been a great "Rivalry"... the way I define a rivalry. I GET your reasons, and they are VALID.
But THIS... getting back to even... then taking the lead... well... that is MORE than reason to meet my 'True Rivalry' standards... and again... not saying any of you need it.. you do NOT... but it's BIG TO ME.
We are two season's away... and by blessed all that's holy in this world the next 4, 5 matchups are HUGE... and also by all that is blessed and holy in this world.. we, BY GOD, have the team to DO IT. - JamesJM
