I read his letter... "I no longer feel like myself" "I'm used to playing at a high level" "I don't want to sacrifice anymore"... I get it. Every player has to leave when he feels like it's the right time for him to do it. But at the same time, does he not feel any responsibility or obligation towards his coaches and team to finish... not the season... just the frickin game? Why couldn't he have finished the game and THEN retired? The way he did it just seems like a real chicken sh*t way to handle it, to me. As I said, it's his life and he can certainly do whatever feels right to him. It just doesn't feel right to ME. It could have been handled much better than the way he did it.
