That's a guess.

I read the article. They based this on google searches from a state about other teams.
Not on a poll asking "who is your second favorite team?"

Arizona peeps doing a lot of Ram searches could indicate antipathy (keeping up with the enemy) as much as favoritism.

Might be true for other states as well.

Also don't know how spread the results are. Maybe the #2 team in a state is one of many separated by few % points.
