That team is disoriented and confused.
They are trying to go from 3-4 to 4-3 and some of the players are bad fits and/or don't know the job yet.
Deonne Bucannon has gone from pleasant surprise to exposed liability.
Fitz is too old and too slow now to carry an otherwise lackluster WR corp.
DJ can't do his thing when they're down multiple scores.
And the cube...well, nothing's changed.
The fans here are up in arms about it.
They want Rosen. The ones who want to spare Rosen from rookie disaster want Glennon.
The fire and fury are over what it is perceived as a dink and dunk style that does absolutely nothing to threaten the defense, and eventually leads to suffocation of the run game as well. Imagine that.
So what are they going to do this Sunday? If trends hold, I bet that the Head Coach, OC, and Quarterback are going to try to defy that perception, and prove it wrong. They're going to try to prove that they CAN throw downfield.
This is REALLY the wrong week to do that. With the WR corp and the Oline that they have, and what the Rams have on D, it's going to be disastrous.
Rams are going to feast on that this weekend.
