Simply because it IS old school. When I see the Raiders, I still think of Madden, Stabler, Casper etc. Even the baseball field on the football field reminds me of times past. Like I have said about other old stadiums, it;s one you can glance at and KNOW it's where the Raiders play. Just like the L.A. Coliseum. Newer stadiums have the same sterile look with a Corporate names that changes every 3-4 years.
