I played 2 Years with a torn ACL

In high school back in the early 80's, I played 2 years with a left torn acl. They weren't fixing them back then so I slapped on a Lennox Hill brace and hit the field. I have to say my 40 time took a nose-dive and my chance to play at Purdue went out the window!

Ten years later, I tore my other ACL. I went to the Colt's doctor (Shelbourne) and he repaired both of my ACL's at the same time. Flipper Anderson was on the Colts that season and we were rehabbing at the same time.
