Because to me that would mean the Rams were in a bunch of shoot outs and had a porous defense.
Or that they were behind in a bunch of games and had to air it out for much of the contest.
Those are the kind of numbers you see from an elite QB on an otherwise flawed team and he's constantly carrying them.
If the Rams are the team I think they are, they're going to pile up a lot of rushing yards after they get a few early scores. The defense is going to be in control, and the offense will get some short fields. Racking up big yardage numbers in the air won't be necessary.
Goff's numbers will be very efficient, but probably not high quantities.
