I don't think they will play harder because of salaries given to a QB.
It's about beating a great QB and a division foe. The LA/SF rivalry is unlikely to make Suh or Donald play differently from other teams. I would imagine Donald feels a greater sense of rivalry with Seattle.
Rodgers earned his money IMO and Garappolo got what the market dictated.
When Suh earned record money and when Donald earns record money, I would think the competition would be focusing more on stopping their talent than getting at it with them because of money.
