That said, I’m going to go out on a limb and say AD is not getting an A Rod contract. In fact it could appear kinda dwarfed by it. I mean what if he signs for $22M. Rodergs is getting $11M more a year. That is still a lot of money but the difference in salary is significant. I can help but think Donald has started second guessing his numbers. Probably won’t make any difference but I feel like some psychological affect is happening on some level.
In 2015 Suh sign a deal that was roughly 80% of the top qb's money. In 2016 Von Miller did the same.
My bet is Donald's people are not proposing anything that is roughly 80% of 34 M. (Which would be 27 M).
Yet here we are speculating that Donald's camp will do all these crazy things.
