Conditioning Question

Was watching the ATL game and the starters were playing in 2nd quarter. A comment was made that many of the starters looked gassed and questioned if they were ready to play 4 quarters. Just curious to know how the Rams get the starters conditioned to play 4 quarters with no PS games?
