I'm curious why the NFL doesn't do at least one exhibition game per team in a neutral location. (Like Birmingham, St Louis, Memphis, Lincoln, Billings. etc.) where they don't have a team.
I'm sure it's due to cost, but it would be a good way to expand the product without wearing out the home town fans.
Playing at a neutral site, getting "new" fans fired up and then....future insurance men take the field and play trash-ball...
