As a follow up to the business about sitting Goff and Gurley during pre-season I'm reminded of how much money has changed horse racing over the years. In the 30s the great Seabisquit ran 89 races ! Our last triple crown winner -Justify-ran 6 before retirement. The reason=money and breeding rights. Same with the NFL today. There is so much money invested in star players that it makes no sense to risk them with injuries. If Goff stays healthy I can't imagine how much his breeding rights will be. It's all about the money !
