Its a brutal schedule. I think all the divisional winners will be around 10, 11 games. They have to win the division because the wildcard races are going to be brutal
Disagree, Hazlet.
Ten wins sounds way too low to me, barring crippling injuries.
Last year’s schedule was no picnic, either, yet they would have been 12-4 if they played starters in game 17.
And THAT was in McVay/Wade’s first year after taking over a 4-12 team!
Moreover, this roster has seen quantum leaps forward with the additions of Cooks, Talib, Peters, and Suh. Not to mention that the LB corps now looks like a better fit for Wade’s D.
We’re now 2 weeks away from opening day. We’ve seen the camp reports and two PS games, so I’m just gonna say it.
Anything less than 11-5 will be a disappointment to me. Frankly, a 12-4 season would not fully satisfy me. It will take 13-3 (or better) and a deep playoff run to make me feel that they reached their ceiling.
This team is loaded with both players and coaches, so I think we should expect them to achieve the appropriate results!
