Yeah....but looking at it from the other side that could just be coach type talk to dispose of the conversation.
I wouldn't give Coach McVay response any more weight than the report that said the signing was close.
Okay fair enough.
But what McVay actually said though was that the process was continuing. He just debunked the idea that it would be done this week (the week that ended today). He said nothing had changed, but what that means is that the process continues, it;s ongoing. And...he's most likely right about that .
