Re: 1 Problem, the owners like money

Well, the owners would be well advised to do what they can to keep their respective fans happy.

Just like supermarkets, gas stations, and restaurants have to.

Look, the trend is obvious. Fewer exhibition games and more regular season games.

Owners want more revenue? Gotta give the fans more meaningful games. Pretty simple.

Remember when fans paid regular prices for SIX exhibition games each year? C’mon...

Two preseason games should be enough.

18 regular season games.

Two byes.

63 man roster, including an exemption for a 3rd QB, if necessary in an emergency.

55 men active on gameday.

More practices allowed, more teaching communication between coaches and players allowed in preseason, a few more padded practices allowed in new common sense CBA. Present CBA actually cripples young player development.

Win-win-win, if you ask me.

Bottom line, owners need to cater to fan wants and needs. And by so doing they will actually stimulate more and stronger fan interest.

Preseason should be cut down to 2 games and ALL tickets $5.
