We need an old 8-10 year or more (if needed) vet who can come in a play well for a couple of games if needed.
You can't develop both your young starting QB and a young back up. Not enough reps.
And, game time in everything. We need a vet. Now go and get one Snead, maybe even in a coming cut down.
While I will defer to McVay on backup QB matters, I have to say that I’ll feel better if they can bring in an upgrade before opening day. Hopefully, Snead is all over this.
