I have Verizon FiOs but have had DirecTV in the man cave since 2007
I cancelled it this year simply because it was too expensive ...I was paying $125 service for just cable TV and that was without Sunday Ticket or an other bundled service like telephone or Internet
When I tried to sign up for the Sunday Ticket streaming service only they asked me to put in my zip code (live in suburban MD) and a search of my area said that it was not available. However, when I put in one of my rental properties in DC and my work address also in DC it said those addresses were available for streaming.
The streaming service cost $74 a month for 4 months. Which IMO is more than reasonable. Here is the catch... as I signed up using my rental property address....once it asked for the credit card and I put that info in, it rejected my order because the billing address on the credit card did not match the service address I used in DC. Of course this is an easy fix right... but I just wanted to relay this to those who want to purchase the Sunday ticket the right way
