Mannion was not playing with our starters.........He was out there with all backups......That being said.....
A veteran, #2 QB should be out there and elevating the play of his team mates. He should be leading them and still make good decisions with the football.
Flat out, Mannion looked sloppy.....He played sloppy......His footwork and ball placement was sloppy......Overall, it was a Sloppy night for #14.
My final analysis.......
Looks to me like we can get an upgrade. There will definitely be QB's on the market in the next few weeks. I have no problem at all to go shopping for a #2 QB. I have no preference, just as long as that #2 QB can keep the ship sailing until the starter gets healthy. That's the overall job of a #2 QB.
