I dunno man...just one quick thing to start off. He begins by saying the Rams can just tag him for 3 years. Well no...to repeat something that's already well-known on this board, facing a tag AD could sit out and demand a trade with the tag number counting against the Rams cap (I can provide details on how the cap hit works with a tag when the player holds out). It has also been pointed out constantly that visible starters who demand trades tend to get them. So the Rams would face having an alienated player (popular in the locker room) demanding a trade while they were taking a cap hit on him, with the pressure on them to at least get something for him and move on.
(I know some like the idea of lowballing a transcendent player with a bad tag number for several years, because...I don't know, punishing the greedy athlete? or something?...I am not sure I get it, but no matter, either way, it's not realistic.) I don't know why this guy didn't think of any of that. It's regular discussion here.
